Practical Member Care
Stress Management & Self Care
This course equips member care providers in helping global workers with practical tools to recognize stress, prevent burnout, and develop healthy self-care strategies for long-term ministry sustainability. Participants will explore the emotional, physical, relational, spiritual, and cultural impacts of stress while learning holistic approaches to resilience, wellness, and effective member care in cross-cultural ministry contexts.
Expectations
This course equips member care providers in helping global workers to identify, process, and respond to unmet expectations that commonly arise in missions, transition, reentry, and ministry life. Can be adapted for expectations placed upon, marriage, and cross-cultural adoption. Participants will explore the connection between expectations, disappointment, burnout, anger, hopelessness, and resilience while learning practical tools for creating realistic expectations, strengthening trust in God, improving communication, and supporting healthy adjustment in cross-cultural ministry contexts.
